Semester Introduction

Brief


We talked about what a metaphor is

Visual Metaphor
- A metaphor is a literacy devise used to compare something in order to illustrate more effectively

As example of a metaphor
- "The rain came down in long knitting needles" (Enid Bagnold, National Velvet)

Aim is to produce a picture to metaphorically explain a piece of work. Can use a piece from a novel, poetry, politcal speech, song or letter.
Brief

We looked at several photographers who have metraphor in their images.
